The Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate U.S.A. organization was founded by Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro who first came to the United States in 1962. The current Chief Representative of the organization is Hanshi Robert Scaglione. Of the four styles of Shorin-Ryu karate in existence today, the organization trains in the traditional Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu style.
